My last Friday in Houston started off nicely: a date. hmm... I'm leaving Friday, yet I'm still attempting Houston dudes? Oh, but wait! He's leaving Sunday... for the army! Wow... this is crazy, but it was fun. I haven't been to the Houston Museum's Planetarium since my first viewing of the skys' constellations during Settlers Way Elementary time, and it's been that long since I met a guy who would sincerely ooh and aah at the overhead dome who screamed colors and blurted random facts about our dotted universe. It's so funny how things work out. I didn't know Houston carried a guy enveloped with 'Barbara appeal'. Damnit. My afternoon was twirlful, so who would have thought my night would lack movement?
Two wonderful people. A couple. A God-fearing Christian couple. High-school sweethearts who produced four beautiful girls. Mom is in the midst of recovering from her bout with breast cancer, and Dad gets stung with potential harm. It's always the wrong people. Always. My Mom says 'who are we to question?', but what have they done to be struck? The recurring query. Keep Blacita and Artemio Salinas in your thoughts.
