A Regular Wednesday
Last night I came in around one o'clock in the morning and took a shower, did normal get ready for bed stuff. Then, I laid in bed for about three hours staring at the indention my roommate's butt makes on the top bunk. This was due to the sugar-free Brawls energy drink I drank earlier in the night necessary for keeping my thoughts centered on the chemistry of fabric. Around five o'clock I fell into a recollection of the subconscious. I woke up 8 minutes to seven and contemplated the rush to sociology, a five minute walk across from Jester. I wouldn't be able to have a thorough cleansing of night breath, no mascara, no yogurt: ugly start to a day. I didn't go to class. At eleven-thirty my phone beckons me. Not the sweet ringer of my cell phone but the land line. The land line that yells. Some stupid telemarketer! This guy with a northern New York accent asks me to measure my toes and promises me a pair of Pumas and a gift certificate for two-hundred dollars to Target. I believed him! I swear I'm stupid. I even went through the trouble of knocking on some sorority girls' door asking her if she had a ruler. (I'm laughing at the reminiscence; that really was ridiculous) I came home early today at around 11:30. I literally am addicted to the library. Today was my progression towards cutting back though. I only stayed for about five and a half hours. I can't sleep again. I miss my family. I want us to eat chicken and watch a santa clause movie.
