The Daily Texan
They threw me a public affairs update and shoved me into an office sprinkled with Macs, cluttered work spaces, and posters with bad words on them. I wanted to cry; I wanted to leave; I wanted to quit. But I'm not a quitter. I can lack discipline at times, but I will not lift my hands in surrender. I called Greg Roberts. Sixteen times I called Greg Roberts. No answer, no story. It was a lame story anyways. Me? A buggy reporter? "Hello. This is Barbara Douglass, a reporter from The Daily Texan. Could I ask....." I can't believe this. It's scary. The dark-eyed reporter researching a local election elbow to elbow with me asked if there was a space between 'grass-roots.' This is too real; My next challenge meets me Tuesday in the underground art collage that is .... The Daily Texan.

and do you mean college or collage?
CollAge...yes I meant that. No, I didn't write the article; the story was held because the dude didn't answer his phone.
