Of the River

There is a fine line between enjoying a daydream and wishing you had something else. You have to love the moment you're in and appreciate the details that jewel each image of your life because they're worth more than surface attention. I catch myself desiring another life sometimes, which consciously I would never do, but unknowingly my eyes glaze over with the creation of another world. There is a steady effluvia of beauty lightly spiraling in front of my eyes. How can I forget it's there? As my friend Elizabeth would say... "Beauty is."
