Barbara Douglass. Buffy Summers. Similarities Anyone??

So... I was on YouTube and very bored. For some reason Sarah Michelle Gellar popped in my head and I remembered the Tuesdays of my junior high years when I demanded silence in the house so that I could attend to the only tv show I religiously watched and have ever watched: Buffy. The trench coat-wearing, vampireass-kicking, Angel-loving Buffy was all I aspired to be in life during these pre-teen and teenage years. I'd pop out of my room during the commercials to unveil to my Mom the latest relationship revelation of the Buffy-Angel ball of eternal love. Well, today I chose to review some Buffy episodes and realized that I stopped watching the show toward the last season when everything got a little too mushy with Buffy's Mom dying and her using Spike as a sex-toy/distraction to her current tragedy. Watching Buffy sex Spike up was a little too weird for me. Anyways. During this You Tube "review," my love for Buffy was reawakened and I crave the 6 season collection. I can't believe she didn't end up with Angel. What the hell?! I'm writing Joss Whedon a letter.
