Today was a productive day at work. Not once did I resort to reading Kerouac or checking my e-mail. I wrote a blurb on Alan Taghdisi and the cocktail party he threw in order to show off the newest addition to his antique collection of tapestries and rugs. The European tapestry was predicted to have been woven in 1655, a very valuable "plush piece of history," as my article described it. I also placed party info in envelopes, visited Starbucks and spell-checked the list of RSVP's to a Neiman Marcus party. Being busy is fun. Happy.
